Actor and writer Jacob Inman is haunted by his past--LITERALLY--because he saw ghosts at his first job ever, busing tables at a local restaurant. He saw less ghosts dragging a cartoonishly large pile of towels between two famed Venice boardwalk hotels, but then he had to deal with bodybuilder puke so.....pick your poison. Did the ghosts ever get him? Was he dead THE WHOLE TIME? There's only one way to find out on this extra spoooooky all hallow's week episode, and this time, the craiglist ads are a SCREAM.

Writer Josh Barbee, for every job he gets, usually has one thing worth sticking around for and one OTHER thing worth burning the place to the ground. At McDonald's, it was the smiles and happy customers that kept him going...JUST KIDDING...it was the morning shift where nobody bothered him. When he finally made his way to an insurance cubicle, the main thing that kept him around was the fact that he could get an entire day's work done in one hour. As for the not-so-good things: boredom, terrible managers, and the flu will eventually take it's toll. Nick and Chase find quite possibly the most confusing Craigslist ad in podcast history (unless you're a bail agent maybe), and Josh takes the bait on a ghost writer job.

Mike Streeter (Darkhour Films, Bad Reception podcast) is just a regular, good-old-fashioned dude who loves horror movies and hates dumb day jobs. He's had a great time slinging popcorn at the movie concession stands, which is claims is the best position in the whole joint. It's not all sunshine and Milk Duds, though, because Mike royally biffed it when he moved to Austin, Texas on a whim and could only secure a job at the Starbucks inside a Target. Spoiler alert: big box stores are, shall we say, dumb. Nick and Chase stumble upon a Craigslist job that surely involves at least one large pile of dead mice, and Chase uncovers old wounds from his ex-voice teacher.

Her dreams led her into TV writers rooms and somehow all the way back the bright lights of a 24-hour dog hotel in Los Angeles, surrounded by the worst boss of all time, b-list celebrities, and two-dollar granola bars. Nick and Chase let the conversation fly in a Craigslist-less convo from the bottom all the way to the very...middle?

Eventually, he snaps out of it and realizes life is short, even if it takes reading Death of a Salesman to get there. He loves food, so he's hustled in a ton of kitchens over a sweaty grill, dish pit, you name it! Just don't name Sears...it was bad there. Nick and Chase discover a mysterious pallet maze on Craigslist and Danny may or not move home to build a haunted house.

He's been caught at his first job eating his weight in ice cream, he got robbed $4,0000 in a public park, and somehow he's made it through it all by taking every problem one step at a time. Sometimes that means he has to shock a guy with an industrial taser, but...whatever. Nick and Chase are curious to see if Steve wants to hustle at a pallet warehouse or maybe fix a fence that absolutely cannot be fixed.

Actress Celena Tasabia has had some fumbles. Thankfully, she never got her hand caught in a walnut machine, but she's made a few crucial mistakes, like giving her boss 400 dollars of her hard-earned money (and having a boss in general amirite??) Celena has finally learned her lesson though and figured out the best way to grind, even it means asking people at the gas station for a couple bucks to get to work. Nick and Chase find some acting and modeling gigs on Craigslist that don't exactly impress her.

Comedian David Lew has had COVID and Cancer, and he's still surprisingly upbeat about the whole thing. He's had some good jobs (movie theaters, kind of all of them) and some bad ones (bagging groceries), but overall he's been trying to have a good time and keep things positive, even if the world has it out for him. Nick and Chase really put David's positive outlook to the test when they find a Craigslist job for what could only be described as a "murderboat".
